Transfer Of Credit

If you need more information about transfer course equivalency, please access http://transfer.org.

  1. Grade Eligibility.
Only academic courses with a letter grade of "C-" or better are transferable. The four-year institution will accept and count toward meeting graduation requirements all state guaranteed general education courses that have a grade of C- or better.
  2. Credits received for a particular advanced placement test will vary by academic area. See http://www.colostate.edu/Depts/Registrar/transfer.htm#advplace for more information. Further, CSU accepts scores of 4 and above on international baccalaureate tests.
  3. The four-year college or university will accept all approved credits earned within ten years of transfer. Courses earned more than ten years earlier may be evaluated on an individual basis.
  4. The institution may apply a state guaranteed general education course toward the major or other graduation requirements if that facilitates the student’s graduation more effectively.
